Balochistan govt to make refusal against polio vaccine 'a crime'

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to table a vaccination bill in the provincial assembly to make it compulsory for parents to get their children, below the age five, vaccinated for polio — refusal to which would lead to punishment and arrest by authorities.

Govt reiterates commitment to improve human rights situation

AT-KABUL: The Afghan government reiterated its commitment to improve human rights situation in Afghanistan and launch judicial reforms. The Afghan government and the European Union (EU) held their first human rights dialogue in Kabul on Monday. The dialogue was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salahuddin Rabbani.
